Enigmatic Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu
Built before the 15th century, located in the Eastern Cordillera of southern Peru, on a mountain range at 2,430 meters above sea level. The Historic Sanctuary - Machu Picchu National Archaeological Park is a cultural and natural area according to UNESCO. Spanning 37,302 hectares, it is one of Peru’s most biodiverse areas and houses over 60 archaeological monuments connected by a complex network of Inca trails.
Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain
Huayna Picchu Mountain features a very steep and narrow path, including sections with steps, stairways carved into living rock, and cables. The ascent takes 45 to 60 minutes, depending on physical condition, with a height of 200 meters. The Machu Picchu citadel sits at 2,400 meters, requiring a 300-meter climb.

Day 1: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes.
The awaited day begins with pick-up from your hotel at the coordinated time, based on your train schedule and departure station. The journey starts with a train ride from Poroy or Ollantaytambo station to Aguas Calientes, the last stop before marveling at enigmatic Machu Picchu. In Aguas Calientes, you’ll have free time to enjoy activities like walking through the town, visiting the Machu Picchu museum, exploring the butterfly sanctuary, hiking to Mandor Falls, relaxing in the hot springs, or simply staying at your hotel.
Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco.
After breakfast, we take a bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Time to enjoy and explore Machu Picchu with our guide for about 2 hours, who will provide information about this wonder. After the tour, you’ll have free time to enjoy and take photos. Based on the entry schedule, you’ll visit Huayna Picchu Mountain, requiring strong adrenaline and unlike any other hike, or Machu Picchu Mountain, an easier trek with panoramic views of the Inca Citadel and Huayna Picchu Mountain. The sacred city will remain etched in your mind, heart, and soul. Then, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the return train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy. Finally, back to your hotel in Cusco.
